Like the 5K, the 10K, sponsored by ASML, is a fast and flat course designed for all fitness levels. This is the perfect course for running your personal best or if you’re just strolling with friends and family on Thanksgiving morning.
There are several competitions to choose from in the 10K run at no extra cost. After selecting the 10K as your distance, sign up for all the categories you qualify for. For example, if your company is in the Fittest Firm Contest, sign up for it and join them. If you will be wearing a costume, check that category too. And tell us how the Turkey Trot impacts your wellbeing when you join the 'How I thrive' contest.
The 10K will start at Santa Clara Street just west of Market Street. There will be multiple wave corrals within each of the 10K and 5K races (all distances will be grouped together).
The top three finishers in each age group will be able to pick up their Turkey Trot medal about 3 weeks after the race.
In addition, the first, second and third place winners will receive a Sports Basement gift card.
Age groups are:
9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over.
