The 5K, sponsored by TDK, is a fast and flat course designed for all fitness levels. This is the perfect course for running your personal best or if you’re just strolling with friends and family on Thanksgiving morning.
There are several competitions to choose from in the 5K run at no extra cost. After selecting the 5K as your distance, sign up for all the categories you qualify for. For example, if your company is in the Fittest Firm Contest, sign up for it and join them. If you are a Community Hero (First Responders, Healthcare Workers, etc.), sign up for that too. And if you will be wearing a costume, check that category.
The 5K will start at Santa Clara Street just west of Market Street. There will be multiple wave corrals within each of the 5K and 10K races (all distances will be grouped together).
The top three finishers in each age group will be able to pick up their Turkey Trot medal about 3 weeks after the race.
In addition, the first, second and third place winners will receive a Sports Basement gift card.
Age groups are:
9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over.
