Virgin America and the San Jose Mercury News are proud to present this year’s Costume Contest at the Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot.

Judging will be divided into three categories:

• Holiday Theme
• Non-Holiday Theme
• Team Competition (at least 5 people in team costume)
• Prizes, prizes, prizes!

For those entering the contest, meet at the stage by 7:30 AM. Judging will take place immediately following the National Anthem at 8:00 AM. Judging will be based upon decibel-metering of crowd response with final awards decided by representatives from Virgin America, The San Jose Mercury News and the Costume Contest chairperson.
